Flights
The easiest way to get to Puglia is to fly into Rome or another major city in Italy or Europe, and then take a connecting flight to either Bari or Brindisi Airport.
There are two main airports in Puglia. Both airports are a 40-60 minute drive to Borgo Egnazia:
1. BARI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (BRI)
2. SALENTO AIRPORT in BRINDISI (BDS)
Local, low-cost airline flights should now be listed and available if you plan to connect to Bari/Brindisi after already arriving in Europe. RyanAir, Italian Airways, and Easy Jet all have flights to Puglia, some with select travel dates depending where the flight is originating from.

Car Service
If you need transportation to/from the airport to Borgo Egnazia, the hotel offers a car service you will be able to book in advance. Please contact our wedding planners at hello@gatherevents.com for assistance with booking. There is no train that goes near Borgo Egnazia, please do not use this service in getting to the hotel.
Car Rental
All wedding events will take place at Borgo Egnazia. Once you arrive at the property, a car will not be necessary. If you plan to extend your stay, however, the best way to explore Puglia is with your own set of wheels! Taxis can be difficult to secure in small towns and Ubers are non-existent.
Book rental cars early, especially if you require an automatic transmission. An International Driver’s Permit is (legally) required to drive in Italy. AAA offers options to obtain via mail or in person. More information HERE.
Accommodation
We have secured a group of rooms for our guests at Borgo Egnazia that will be set at €300/night (per room).
All rooms require a 3-night minimum for our event weekend May 24-27. We are encouraging our guests to stay onsite as we will have events and activities planned here throughout the weekend.
To book your stay, please login to our group portal with the following credentials:

All rooms will be booked as “DOUBLE ROOMS” and once final RSVPs have been collected closer to the event dates, you will receive your specific room assignment and check-in confirmation from Borgo Egnazia!
Check-in time is 3PM and check-out time is 12PM. We will be requesting early check-in for everyone.
Should you wish to extend your stay at Borgo Egnazia, our guests will receive 10% off of the best available rate at the time of booking for any pre or post wedding stays. This will be booked separately through reservations@borgoegnazia.com (cc hello@gatherevents.com). This may require a room change for event nights at this point.
